I have tried this, double and triple checked my calculations, but answers were all deemed wrong and now I am locked out. My research suggests that there might potentially be different constituent answers in a couple of cases, although my answers that took account of these potential variants were still wrong. It is possible I have made an error somewhere else, but having double-checked I'm at a bit of a loss.
We had problems with the Laws Laws Laws puzzle not accepting the right answer yesterday - try sending an email to OSC support, with details of the problem.

It took my first attempt. For the most part, the terms, as worded in the puzzle, produce unambiguous results in the US version of Google.
Edit for clarity: I was talking about "Laws Laws Laws".

Well my second opinion introduced other possible answers so its probably not an OSC support issue, just my answer being wrong. There probably aren't that really that many possible answers so I will try again tonight. Between us, we have two possible answers for the Guiness consumption, three possible answers for the walk across town, and two possible answers for the pampering session.
I'm at a definite handicap when it comes to hair glossing treatments... not enough hair!!
But at least there are only a certain number of trains that go back to Shelford.

I thought I had this one (Tour of London) nailed when my calculation was, to the minute, matching one of the Shelford arrival times.
Sadly, it wasn't that one or either of the times adjoining it.
I'm wondering if the time tables looked different when "There Will be Blood" was showing.

I don't know how to say this without giving up the ghost (and we may be talking past one another), but
Edit: Ok, I had guessed a length of time for the hair service and got the right arrival time . I just found the value I was supposed to use and that would give me the wrong answer. Go figure.
Ok, here is what I have so far:
Something must be wrong somewhere, as I haven't got the right answer yet. Have to give up for the night though, as I have to write a 250 word essay in german about violent computer games and films. Should I mention E.V.I.L.?
@Molnar:
I think I get what you're saying.
But we'd have to ignore the constraint imposed by National Rail.
(Which I 'm pretty sure we need to do for the movie.)
If we need to use specific information available only at the department store, shouldn't it follow that the same would apply for the train schedule?

Like I said, I must have been using the force last night to solve this one. The only way I can get reasonably close to the answer that worked for me is to use the mistaken value for the world record that Зoя uses above (there was a mistake at one place on the Guinness site where they left off the minutes part of the record).
Here's another one where, having failed with my calculated answers, i have systematically tried everything between 17.46 and 18.30. Is it somewhere within this timeframe and I must have gone wrong somewhere (the link crashes a fair bit), or do I need to keep trying new ones?
As I remember it, I spent ages looking up the time that the hair treatment might take, only to discover that they only chatted and booked the treatment - so it took next to no time at all!
So the train I initially guessed at was a bit later than the actual answer.
Hope this helps.

Yeah, that was a failing of the puzzle unfortunately, it should have been reworded. Luckily for me I was at work when I was doing it and didn't read it carefully enough, meaning I missed that and carried on without a hair treatment and got it right first time

This one has officially cheesed me off! I have now clocked up about 50 attempts for this measly 100 points, and still no joy. Variously confused by erroneous pizza-eating times, non-existant hair treatments, lack of clarity over there will be blood times at a certain cinema, and the vaguaries of british rail train timetables, I am still none the wiser on the answer to this. Even more annoyingly many people seem to have got it on first attempt, despite overlooking important nuggets of information - see above, and Molnar's use of "The Force" (wish I had that).
Can someone narrow it down to a 6 minute window, so I can guarantee getting it before the final puzzle is solved please? It must be somwhere around
Sorry Agent Kenya, that's not quite right.
I think you're over complicating the puzzle to be honest... things like the film showing, you just need to add on the number of minutes long the film is onto the arrival time, etc. Take everything in its most basic form.
Oh, and remember that the answer will be based on train times (your within 6 mins comment makes me think you might have forgotten that)
