Hello Recruits!

You’ve been doing so well in your training missions that we have decided it’s time to test your new found loveliness-spreading skills out in the field. And even if you haven’t been training too hard, a nice field trip is just want you need. (It’ll do you almost as much good as a lovely cup of tea!) As this is your first mission out and about we at the Agency have decided to keep things nice and easy. You will be playing against each other in teams of 2 to 4 people, and there will be no nasty E.V.I.L operatives there to get in your way or make a nuisance of themselves. Or we hope not, at any rate...

‘So what is our mission?’ I hear you cry. Well it’s a super fun serious training exercise codenamed Cruel 2 B Kind (C2BK)*. The easiest way to imagine it is to think ‘rock, paper, scissors’ with added loveliness. And no rocks, paper or, indeed, scissors. Agent Nova says scissors and rocks are a breach of health and safety or something.

Anyway, your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to locate and ‘benevolently assassinate’ your opposition with sheer happy wonderful loveliness. Every team will be assigned one of three ‘weapons’ in the form of some of the Agency’s favourite compliments. These will have the power to ‘assassinate’ the other teams, gaining points, people and booty for your team if used correctly and on the right people.

Thing is, you’ll have no idea of who your opponents are. And likewise, they will not know you. You will, therefore, need to deploy your weapons very carefully, as you always run the risk of being found and assassinated by another team. Remember: they could be anyone!

This exciting lovely-filled training exercise will be happening on Saturday 1st November 2008 simultaneously at 2pm in 3 cities across the UK:

• • Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester
• • City Centre, Plymouth

The games will last approximately 2 hours, followed by an awards ceremony, where the winning team will be crowned. We should be all wrapped up and on our way home for tea by 4.30pm. The game will cost a minimum donation of £4 (though feel free to give more if you’re feeling generous!), with all profits going to Cancer Research UK.

To play, all you need to do is find some other like-minded lovely people and form a super-lovely team! Then, all of you should fill this registration form and make sure one of you e-mails c2bK@operationsleepercell.com with the names of your team’s members.

Please note places are limited, so sign up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment! Nothing worse than a horrible slice of disappointment when you’re looking forward to something, eh?
